Robert Wyatt has extensive experience as a tourism developer and designer, show producer, creative manager, collaborator, master planner, and project development strategist. This valuable background coupled with his entertainment and international experience makes him a sought after resource in the industry. His vision and creative leadership has led to unique projects and experiences for clients and their customers worldwide.
Robert founded Artisan Design Company, and leads a team of internationally respected developers, architects, designers and special effects producers who have led world-class projects across the globe. He is also a co-founder of Pekan Artisan, a tourism resort and high-impact attraction developer based in Malaysia, specializing in eco-tourism resorts.
Prior to Artisan Design, Robert co-founded EDG, working with Dubailand Parks and Resorts (UAE), consulting on six theme parks, reviewing project parameters, investment levels, design and sizing parameters. He also consulted on the Shaolin City development (China), Heart of Europe (UAE), and the Zhongnan Cartoon City resort and theme park (China).
Robert was Vice President of Entertainment and Development for BRC Imagination Arts where he led projects such as Dubailand (United Arab Emirates), the Freej theme park (UEA), 57 Centrum (California), the Shuttle Launch Experience at Kennedy Space Center (Florida), Spaceport Shenyang (China), Niagara Experience Center (New York), Sentosa Island Resort (Singapore), Arizona Science Center (Arizona), and Aquarium of the Pacific (California). He also worked as a design lead on Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.(Illinois)
Consulting Creative Director
John King is our go to Creative Director. He is an internationally recognized creative, who has been instrumental in developing destination experiences and content across the world.
John’s creative experiences harness the skills and experience of theatrical design, illustration, storyboarding, vision master-planning, writing, animation and developing destination experience concept, creating a unique talent that is in demand from clients across the world.
As a destination master-planner and destination designer John’s creative and producer experience extends from site to media.
John’s notable credits for Artisan Design include Langkawi Paradise Garden’s (Malaysia), Melaka Alive (Malaysia), as well as the Capitol Theatre, the Indigenous Experience and the Midway, all historical cultural experiences, at Fort Edmonton Park (Canada).
John’s continued work on high-profile international projects, creating unique destination experiences, includes the Heineken Experience (Netherlands), Empire State Building (New York), Rotterdam Zoo (Netherlands), LAX Airport (California), Abbey Road Studios (UK), The Kennedy Space Center (Florida), the Guinness Store House (Ireland), the Heart of Europe (Dubai), the USA Pavilion (China, 2010 and Japan, 2006) as well as museums and animal parks in Norway.
His extensive experience in creating media content, including character design, storyboarding, concept development, writing and art direction includes content and concept for Langkawi Paradise Garden’s (Malaysia), Melaka Alive (Malaysia) and for multiple projects at Fort Edmonton (Canada).
John has previously developed storyboards for high-profile international events including the opening and closing ceremonies for the 2000 Sydney Olympics (Australia), this included storyboards for both ceremonies as well as the international telecast.
Chief Operating Officer
Monica Tate oversees all the day-to-day responsibilities of the company, and manages all legal and financial functions. Monica has extensive business and project management experience, and has worked on high profile US and overseas projects.
Her most recent work has included project accounting and management for Melaka Alive (Malaysia), a US$40 million dollar development celebrating the history and culture of Malaysia, Melaka Resort Development (Malaysia), a 400 acre mixed-use development, and Oriental Village in Langkawi (Malaysia) an eco experience park and zoo.
Monica has also worked on a US$150 million dollar park renovation project in Fort Edmonton Park (Canada), and a heritage development in Lebanon (Tennessee). The project included a theme park, hotel, small convention center, and visitor center spread over 113 acres.
While at EDG, Monica worked on Dubailand Parks and Resorts (UAE), consulting on six major theme parks, reviewing project parameters including investment levels, attendance assumptions, design, and sizing parameters. She also was a critical part of the project team for the Shaolin City development (China), Heart of Europe development (UAE), Zhongnan Cartoon City destination resort and a theme park in Shenyang (China) which focused on bringing the Zhongnan brand identity to life through characters and stories.
Monica began her career working in the construction industry, project managing the construction and redevelopment of high net worth homes and estates in Beverly Hills.
Consulting Director, Marketing and PR
Masha Vitali is an award winning marketeer and events professional with extensive experience in the fields of marketing, communications and events.
As a marketing principal and manager, Masha has a wealth of experience in marketing and communications including campaign development and management, strategic planning, evaluation, creative concept design, media buying, client liaison, copywriting and project management. Marketing specialities include destination and visitor marketing, branding, city promotional campaigns, event marketing and PR, external and corporate communications, as well as resident consultations, communications, and marketing, and campaigns aimed at hard-to-reach audiences.
As an event manager, Masha has led in the development, organization and management of large scale events including outdoor music and sporting events, large and small scale corporate events, including exhibitions and conferences, as well as large scale corporate hospitality events and high profile galas. As an event manager, Masha has also worked on a number of high-profile televised events including the BBC Proms in the Park in Salford (UK) concert and the 2002 Commonwealth Games (UK).
