The Kristiansand zoo and amusement park is a zoological garden and amusement park situated 11 km east of Kristiansand, Norway. It is Norway’s most frequently visited attraction, covering an area of 150 acres.

The dramatic expansion of an existing Africa section included extensive planning and concept design. Additional areas developed and concepted included new enclosures and environments for the lions gorillas, a commercial hub, a large petting zoo/children’s area, adaptation of the existing savannah enclosure and the vision plans to re-interpret an existing train and water ride in the African theme.

The first phase of the expansion was completed in 2010 and redevelopment continues.
