Fort Edmonton Park, Canada’s largest living museum located by the Saskatchewan in Alberta, brings the areas history to life with authentic and recreated historic buildings, live interpretation and transport. Rob Wyatt, while an owner and principal at EDG, and John King created the expansion master plan to attract more locals and visitors to the area. The park is to recreate more historic buildings, provide more live interpretation and introduce shows that will bring to life Edmonton’s colorful history.
The first phase of this expansion, which opened in 2011, was the recreation of the 1918 Capitol Theatre, with the addition of an immersive multi media show.
